Who are we?
The Future Star Kids Academy is born off 25 years of training and development of South Africa's youth. From the facilitation of short courses and skills programmes to pivotal qualifications; this academy has been developed to focus on key skills development at a younger age.The creative industries in conjunction with the media sector has become the platform for all businesses to communicate and engage.
The Future Star Kids Academy firstly demystifies the media sector and the new world that we find ourselves in, through facilitation of exciting weekly sessions. The participating young minds develop a better sense of understanding how the world works amidst the powerful media and communications influence. They also acquire the skills that will afford them a competitive advantage in their future career endeavors.
What do we offer?
The academy offers two progressive programmes designed and developed to be simple and exciting whilst installing a depth of understanding and enhanced capacity in engaging the world of media, technology, content, and communication.
The programmes offered are segmented into two age categories. They are presented as fun interactive Saturday classes. Annual certification and grading forms part of the progression structure of the programme.
Why?
Much of the world has changed due to technology and globalisation amongst many things. Today's kids need to be better equipped to participate and compete in the global economy.
Unfortunately, many countries and education systems are playing catch up. Future Star Kids Academy remedies this challenge, ensuring that participating kids become the architects of their own destination.
